What fees does Fitness Marketplace charge sellers (merchants)?

Fitness Marketplace’s revenue share model is based on aligning our interests with yours. Our primary goal is to bring the fitness consumers to one marketplace and drive fitness brands we love sales through the marketplace so that you can focus on other things like sourcing, creating, and making great products for our customers.  With Fitness Marketplace, small to medium brands, retailers, gyms/studios and trainers/instructors are able to launch a custom store and start selling in our marketplace for free.

However, we are a growing small business just like yours, so in order to continue to provide an exceptional Fitness Marketplace experience for both you and our shared customers, we created some very fair and simple pricing. We don’t charge listing fees, or monthly fees to start selling. We only charge you a flat commission where we’ve been able to add extra value to your business.

  1. Plans
    1. Free Seller Plan By default when you register you are subscribed to the free self-managed seller account plan, where you create your store, manage your listings, inventory, shipping and customer service. The Free Seller Plan is charged a 15% commission of the sale (minus returns & discounts/promotions & shipping), and the remaining 85% goes directly to you (minus payment processing fees).
    2. Managed Plan – Drop ship – This is also a free plan but has a slightly higher commission rate than the Free plan depending on your custom needs, the size of your business, size of collection, price range, your margins and work we need our developers to do. If you are not able/willing to manage your store please contact setup and let them know you would like a Managed plan and we will work out pricing that works for you.  This plan automatically includes a free custom store and URL, but includes management of your listings, inventory, customer service and order processing and tracking.

*Both Free Seller Plan and Drop Ship Managed plan feature your custom store, where you own your inventory, set your prices and ship your orders.

  1. B2C Marketplace Pricing, Sale Events and Promotions
    1. You set all regular and sale pricing in your storefront. However regularly Fitness Marketplace will offer opportunities for individual brands or category promotions and sales to increase visibility of your products in the marketplace and to incentivize new and repeat customers by offering automatic discounts on your products.  Like a flash sale.  Each sale will have different discounts required for participation.  Each promotion/sale will be voluntary opt-in and not obligatory.
  2. B2B Professional Deals to trainers and industry members and movers and shakers
    1. We offer our certified trainers, instructors and gym members who sell on our platform or who are affiliates with our platform the opportunity to buy PRO Deals. This is great for brands to get their products on opinion leaders.  Pro Deals are NOT mandatory, though they are highly effective way to get your brand on professional opinion leaders so we highly recommend offering an always on PRO deal for your brand (a discount coupon for professionals) and/or periodic promotions and/or give always to professionals.  As this ads value to our professional sellers and influencers we are happy to work with you to define and promote your PRO Deals.
